Born in January, 17, 1947, in Creil, Yves CASS spent his childhood in Normandy. He obtained his baccalaureate before entering the Paris School of Journalism.
He then worked at "Paris Normandie", which he left for "Nice Matin" in 1973.
He stayed there until 1975 and then worked in various trades while continuing to paint and participate in many exhibitions of his studio.
Skipper on big sailing boats, craftsman, commercial, company manager, stonemason, builder of swimming pools...
He went to Africa where he stayed several years in more and less adventurous activities. He finally decides to become a professional painter in 1991.
Painting but also engraving in copper, lithography, sculpture, bronze and enamels gradually complete his world of work in the themes that are dear to him.
Mythology, litterature and music, against the background of a spiritual quest and questions about the values of humanism and our contenporary societies.
He is referenced by the international account guide AKOUN since 1996 and he has been in the "Who's Who" since 2005.
He exhibits in the largest galleries of international reputation in Europe, United States and Asia.
He also realizes three public commissions for monumental sculptures.
